ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Project Manager II to join our team onsite in Norfolk, VA. This position is onsite.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Lead and coordinate the scoping, technical requirements gathering, estimating, and planning for single or multiple projects or work streams
- Coordinate systems development for major applications, define project requirements including information and data needs, business analysis and programming
- Coordinate all meetings and interface with business units, staff and service providers
- Direct and manage project development from beginning to end while defining the project scope, goals and deliverables
- Determine if external consultants or contractors should be added to the internal project and/or development team(s) in order to successfully complete the project
- Daily Management and coordination of all technical and logistical aspects of a project including timelines, risks, risk mitigation strategies, action items and change requests
- Up to 25% travel required or as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree and a minimum of four (4) years of relevant project management experience
- Experience with planning and developing project schedule
- Experience with resource management
- Experience with managing cost, schedule, and performance
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP Certification
- Prior experience with Navy
- Prior experience with Navy Continuous Training Environment program.
Clearance Requirements:
- US citizenship required and an Active Secret Security clearance.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
- The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
