Position Description:

CGI Federal is looking for a Salesforce Architect with proven experience who can be part of a team in a dynamic and changing environment. CGI helps clients take an enterprise approach to accelerate and maximize their return on technology investments through relevant applied innovation. The Salesforce Architect is responsible for designing robust Salesforce Government CRM solution for our federal client's mission critical objectives. They will work as a trusted advisor to our federal clients and help architect the most efficient solutions that meet our client's business needs. They will work closely with the client domain SME's, Lead Solution Architect (SA), and security team to understand the overall project parameters. This role includes client relationship management and executive communication.

***This position is located in our Fairfax, VA office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable***

Your future duties and responsibilities:
Work with team and federal clients to create proof of concept solutions for the overall and individual components to validate Salesforce CRM solution architecture.
Review existing solution architecture and refine further
Refine product backlog as part of the overall solution architecture effort
Own the design of Salesforce platform solution, as well as integration design. Potential integration points include Amazon Connect and other 3rd party tools.
Supervise the configuration, quality assurance, testing, and deployment of Salesforce,
Collaborative project and workstream planning.
Automate processes using Salesforce automation tools, such as Process Builder, Workflows, Formulas, Flow, Assignment Rules, E-mail Alerts
Collaborate with team members and other departments in defining business requirements for optimal use of Salesforce functionality
Proactively identify areas of improvement and functional gaps in Salesforce Applications
Create and maintain technical documentation including process documentation, naming and commenting conventions and Salesforce policies/procedures

Experience and Knowledge
Familiarity with Salesforce service level metrics - out of box and creating additional
Knowledge and understanding of Salesforce capabilities including: Case Processing, Case Assignment, Skill-based Routing, Workload Management and Prioritization
Experience with Salesforce Knowledge Management tools including Creating knowledge articles, AI-Driven Summarization, Article lifecycle, etc
Experience migrating legacy CRM to Salesforce
Experience creating API's using Mulesoft
Experience Training and coaching teammates

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a relevant field preferred.
8+ years overall technical professional experience
5+ years of experience with Salesforce architecture
Minimum Salesforce certified:
Administrator
Sales Cloud Consultant
Service Cloud Consultant
Platform App Builder
Salesforce Architecture certifications
Strong understanding of Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components
Familiarity with Salesforce development best practices and design patterns
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:
Experience with Federal Government and Healthcare sectors, specifically the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS)

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $88,200.00 - $190,900.00.
