Overview of the Role

We are seeking a knowledgeable and collaborative WiFi & Networking Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support our Multi-Dwelling Unit (MDU) sales team. In this role, you'll serve as the go-to expert on WiFi and networking technologies, helping drive business by ensuring our solutions are sound, scalable, and tailored to each property's needs.

You'll partner with sales, engineering, project management, and operations teams to design and support end-to-end network solutions. From proposals to deployments, you'll ensure we're delivering value to property owners, developers, and strategic partners while also helping to elevate the technical expertise of our internal teams.

What You'll Do
  • Partner with MDU sales reps to develop tailored WiFi and networking proposals and quotes
  • Provide expert insight into the design, architecture, and deployment of WiFi networks for large properties
  • Support pre-sales and post-sales activities, including site assessments and technical discovery
  • Troubleshoot complex network issues and recommend optimization strategies
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, engineering, and project management to ensure seamless implementation
  • Conduct technical training sessions for internal sales and client-facing teams
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with property owners, developers, and key technology vendors
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of sales processes and technical documentation
  • Stay informed on industry trends and emerging networking technologies


What You Bring

  • Must Haves:
    • Solid documentation skills and experience with proposal development
    • Ability to work across departments and build rapport with both internal and external stakeholders
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
    • Experience supporting sales teams or working in a pre-sales engineering or solutions architect capacity
    • Strong understanding of RF behavior, wireless interference, and performance tuning
    • Deep expertise in WiFi and networking technologies (LAN/WAN/WLAN), including design and deployment
  • Nice-to-Have
    • Certifications such as CWNA, CWDP, CompTIA Network+, or vendor-specific credentials (e.g. Cisco, Ubiquiti, Ruckus)
    • Hands-on experience with enterprise networking gear and platforms
    • Experience working with MDUs, hospitality, or property technology clients
