How you will make an impact:
Transformation & Organizational Effectiveness
- Streamline and improve HR processes, systems, and workflows to support a seamless employee experience. Drive initiatives to enhance organizational effectiveness and deliver world-class HR service delivery including process improvements across all of our HR services.
- Continuously drive improvements and automation to improve our employee experience and enable operational efficiency & effectiveness.
- Spearhead the forward-thinking transformation journey of our HR function, including driving changes in our operating model and service delivery to drive business success.
- Lead the design and execution of change management strategies to support organizational initiatives.
- Oversee data governance practices to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of HR data within the HR systems.
- Use deep expertise in strategy/HR to structure approaches to address complex projects and ambiguous problems, understand and articulate the potential paths to solutions, and align the right people/resources against the right work streams.
- Build strong partnerships with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Operations, and IT, to drive synergies and alignment across the organization.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Leadership and Strategy
- Provide leadership and direction to the Employee & Labor Relations team, overseeing development, interpretation, and consistent application of ER/LR policies, practices, and procedures.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the Director of HR providing insights and recommendations on operational strategies.
- Partner with People team leaders to drive alignment on organizational goals and priorities.
- Provide mentorship and support to HR team members, fostering their development and growth, ensuring they provide high-quality support to the organization.
What you will bring:
Required Experience, Qualifications & Skills:
Education: Bachelor's degree in HR, LR, Business Admin, or related field.
Experience and Skills:
- 7+ years of experience in HR experience, including HR strategy, change management, and employee/labor relations.
- Experience working in a unionized environment is strongly preferred.
- Expertise in process optimization.
- Ability to analyze complex data sets and present actionable insights to leadership.
- Excellent project management skills with a track record of implementing scalable solutions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated experience leading and managing a team, with a track record of developing talent and fostering collaboration.
- Proven track record of success in a similar high-growth, fast-paced environment, and experience in system implementations that integrate across business functions.
- Exhibit a strong sense of ownership towards own work and the team's.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Passion for driving lasting transformational change.
- The role demands a strategic thinker, a collaborative leader, and a problem solver with a passion for technology and a commitment to building a great workplace culture.
- Advanced degree or certifications (e.g., SPHR, SHRM) a plus.
- Hybrid expected 20% travel
