The Department of Pathology and the Pelotonia Institute for Immuno-Oncology (PIIO) at The Ohio State University are seeking a research-focused tenure-track faculty member to lead an independent research program focused on spatial immuno-oncology, utilizing cutting-edge technologies (e.g., spatial transcriptomics, spatial proteomics, imaging mass cytometry) to study the tumor microenvironment. This position offers a unique opportunity to join a world-class team dedicated to understanding and advancing the field of cancer immunology through innovative spatial analysis of the tumor microenvironment.Successful candidates will have a PhD, MD, or equivalent degree in immunology, cancer biology, pathology, or a related field; proven track record of research excellence with publications in high-impact journals; significant experience in spatial biology technologies, tumor microenvironment analysis, and immuno-oncology; demonstrated success in obtaining extramural research funding; strong leadership, communication, and mentorship skills; and a collaborative spirit with an interest in multidisciplinary research.The OSUWMC is an equal opportunity, affirmative action employer.
