Senior Sales Manager
Position Summary
As the Senior Sales Manager for our dual-property hotel, you will be responsible for driving group, corporate, and banquet-related business across both the AC Hotel and Residence Inn Reston. You'll craft and implement strategic sales plans, build and maintain strong client relationships, and work closely with the leadership team to ensure both properties exceed revenue goals and establish a strong foothold in the competitive Reston market. This position is bonus eligible, rewarding high performance and the achievement of sales goals. The Senior Sales Manager reports to our Director of Sales & Marketing.

Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to drive revenue across both the AC Hotel and Residence Inn brands within the dual-branded property.
- Generate new leads, secure group and corporate bookings, and expand our customer base across various market segments.
- Promote the dual-brand concept by articulating the complementary value of both hotel experiences to clients in a single, cohesive pitch.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with corporate clients, travel managers, event planners, and local businesses.
- Partner with the DOSM and operations teams to ensure cohesive pricing, inventory management, and sales strategies for both brands under one roof.
- Conduct site visits and presentations showcasing the dual-brand advantages, including flexible accommodation and versatile meeting spaces.
- Monitor competitor activity and local market trends to stay competitive and adjust strategies as needed.
- Represent the hotel at networking events, trade shows, and community functions to build visibility and generate business opportunities.
- Track performance, analyzing results, and report progress toward sales goals, ensuring continuous growth and optimization.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hotel sales experience, with a proven track record of success
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Proven ability to develop and execute sales strategies across multiple properties.
- In-depth knowledge of hotel sales cycles, revenue management principles, and local market trends for both short-term and extended stay accommodations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with experience using hotel sales software (e.g., Delphi, Fosse) a plus.
- Highly self-motivated with the ability to manage sales activities for two distinct properties while remaining results-oriented and adaptable.
