A Snapshot of Your Day
As the Portfolio Manager for SGT Americas, your day will center on coordinating and managing multi-functional engineering teams to deliver high-quality gas turbine packages. You will serve as the primary technical advisor to both internal teams and third-party packagers, ensuring projects are completed time, within budget, and to the highest standards. You'll also support the integration of new package designs into software systems and provide critical support to the Telge Rd facility on project execution and technical queries.

Gas Services
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.

You will serve as the primary technical advisor to both internal teams and third-party packagers, ensuring projects are completed time, within budget, and to the highest standards. You'll also support the integration of new package designs into software systems and provide critical support to the Telge Rd facility on project execution and technical queries.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Lead and coordinate a multi-disciplinary team to finish the engineering activities for SGT gas turbine package projects.
- Serve as the main technical point of contact for third-party packagers, offering guidance throughout the design and build process.
- Ensure compliance to project timelines, budget, and quality standards for all SGT and AGT projects completed at the facility.
- Drive technical issue resolution and provide timely responses to internal and external partners.
- Support the implementation of the N2 NEC package design into the software tools and SAP integration processes.
- Contribute to customer satisfaction by ensuring the delivery of reliable, efficient, and well-supported gas turbine packages.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Extensive experience in gas turbine packaging, preferably within industrial or oil and gas sectors.
- Proven project management and leadership skills, with the ability to coordinate diverse teams.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with a confident approach to stakeholder engagement.
- Excellent working knowledge of relevant software tools and platforms, including SAP.
- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
