Zantech is looking for a talented Cybersecurity Certification and Accreditation Analyst to support our Federal Client during a cutting-edge enterprise information technology implementation.

This upcoming project offers cloud infrastructure specialists an opportunity to manage and secure federal hosting environments requiring high-level security compliance. This project provides capacity planning, disaster recovery implementation, and providing 24/7 technical support for mission-critical applications in AWS GovCloud environments. Ideal candidates will have experience with infrastructure as a service (IaaS), security compliance frameworks like NIST and RMF, and technical skills in areas such as virtualization, monitoring, and network security.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
  • Serves as a cybersecurity Subject Matter Expert for Authorization of information systems
  • Fully versed in DoD implementation of authorization process and supporting policies/procedures
  • Performs DoD cybersecurity process for authorizing information systems
  • Understands how NIST 800-53 security controls apply to assessing and authorizing large IT infrastructures
  • Determines severity of identified vulnerabilities and ramifications on system authorization
  • Briefs senior management on progress/results of systems undergoing authorization

Required Qualifications:
  • Five years of relevant C&A experience, Risk Management Framework (RMF) and NIST C&A experience, DOD cybersecurity experience
  • DOD Secret Clearance (TOP SECRET for DLA CERT duty)
  • Must be eligible for IT II
  • Relevant certification meeting DOD 8570.01 IAM level III (or IAT level II for CERT personnel)
  • Experience assessing security controls and conducting authorization reviews for large, complex organizations
  • Computing Environment certifications as specified
