Summary

We're seeking a dynamic Senior Infrastructure Engineer to lead the charge in enhancing our digital infrastructure. In this role, you'll design, manage, and implement innovative solutions that drive our business forward. You'll continuously improve and optimize our infrastructure, research and introduce new technologies, and ensure scalable and efficient infrastructure supporting our business goals.

What You'll Do:

• Design, build, configure, monitor, and support services within Microsoft Azure, SaaS solutions, and other hosted services.
• Manage and improve Azure Active Directory, Hybrid AD, Security Groups, and Group Policy.
• Oversee updates, changes, and new technology integrations while adhering to Change Management policy and process.
• Act as the highest level of escalation for enterprise issues and outages.
• Analyze systems and network health to optimize performance.
• Manage SharePoint Modern Sites and collaborate with various departments to minimize document replication and support departmental landing pages.
• Participate in project and planning meetings to stay aligned with schedules and requirements.
• Recommend new technologies to improve performance and security, leveraging the skills within the IT team.
• Design a backup schedule and implement technology to support recoverability.
• Develop and nurture relationships across the organization, as well as with partners and vendors.
• Create network and systems maps, documentation, and configuration standards, maintaining up-to-date "Current state" drawings for LAN, WAN, and cloud architecture.
• Recommend enhancements to streamline and improve the efficiency of technology installation and support
• Manage Network Carrier relationships, monitoring bandwidth and usage, making recommendations for increases or changes as appropriate.
• Conduct advanced diagnostics to identify changes, and improvements to positively affect performance.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) in systems and network services and report cause and remediation to leadership.
• Provide direction, training, and processes for System Administrators to improve proactive measures and speed to service.

Who You Are:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent of 5-7 years of experience providing systems and network technical configuration, optimization, and management services
• 5 years of previous experience as an IT Administrator with increasing responsibility is required
• Strong customer service experience and communication skills.
• Experience planning and delivering technical projects
• Ability to effectively and professionally communicate with people at various levels within the organization, outside vendors and contractors, and diverse teams with a wide variety of technology skills and abilities
• Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve problems with varying degrees of difficulty
• Ability to support and configure the following:
  • Windows 10, 11
  • Microsoft 365
  • Microsoft Teams, Teams Channels, SharePoint
  • Domain environment
  • DNS
  • Azure AD, Hybrid AD, Security Groups, Group Policy
  • Wireless networks, WIFI design and AP placement
  • Set up of monitoring and alerts for major systems and network services.
• IT related certifications (MCP, A+, Network+, etc.) are preferred
• Previous experience reviewing and providing input for network topology, networking equipment and infrastructure.
• Knowledge and experience with network management / monitoring tools
• Advanced Microsoft 365 configuration, license assignment, and operations
• Previous experience or expertise of the following IT related systems, equipment, best practices, etc.
  • SharePoint Sites Creation
  • Connectwise Automate, Team Viewer or other remote access control tools.
  • Setting up VLans and securing networks.
  • End user instruction and guidance
  • Vendor and installation coordination

Work Environment and Physical Demands:
Minimal Travel
Work is generally performed within an office environment, and/or work from home remote set up.
