Starting Salary: $140,000 - $160,000

Job Summary:
Leads the sales and marketing activities of the Door division for the nation and Canada. Ensures results such as aggressive sales growth, profitability, customer loyalty, product/sales development, and quality management. Develops and implements sales/marketing policy for growth of company. Reports to V. P. Doors Division. Direct supervision of Regional Sales Managers, Customer Service, Quote Manager, Quote Application Specialist, and indirect supervision personnel in other departments that touch the Customers (IT, Quality, etc.)

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Creates a vision and implements an annual sales/marketing strategy that achieves Woodgrain's business objectives.
- Increases profit and sales with personal contributions and leadership of the sales organization.
- Develops relationships of trust and confidence with existing and potential customers that yield a preference for Woodgrain products/services.
- Trains and develops highly effective regional sales personnel.
- Leads the pricing strategy and the preparation and implementation of changes.
- Leads the development and implementation of new products/services and the expansion of current products/services to new markets.
- Directs market research activities to understand customer needs, customer perceptions of Woodgrain, and business opportunities.
- Coordinates and aligns brand strategy and brand recognition with corporate marketing plan.
- Monitors and maintains marketing budgets and usage. Supervises the preparation and presentation of catalogs.
- Conducts customer surveys to obtain marketing information.
- Coordinates activities involved in planning and implementation of all trade shows, including pre-show and post-show promotional activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in related field.
- Requires 10+ years' sales and marketing experience, preferably in building products and millwork. Substantial knowledge, understanding, and positive results of sales and marketing practices.
- Management experience with positive results leading others, and administering business tasks.
- Pricing experience for market share and profit.
- Experience in creating and managing a budget.
