Lockheed Martin Enterprise Operations (EO) is actively seeking an experienced information technology (IT) professional to support the Space business area classified programs located in the Valley Forge, PA, US office.
A successful candidate will have experience in technical service delivery and Windows system administration, which are both essential elements in providing IT support to these complex classified environments. The candidate will need a strong understanding of TCP/IP, IT security principles, proactive attitude, strong customer relationship management skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a larger technical team.
Primary job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: installing, configuring, securing, hardening, remediating, testing, upgrading and decommissioning of data center equipment, network switches, virtual servers, physical servers, client workstations, and network-attached storage equipment. Application support to program engineers is an essential part of the day-to-day responsibilities that ensures a successful synergy between program deliverables and the underlying IT infrastructure. The selected candidate will be responsible for the ongoing operations, maintenance and continuous improvement of multiple classified IT program environments. This IT professional will ensure that the Space IT systems are managed, controlled and compliant with the Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) and the Risk Management Framework (RMF). This is a non-telecommuting position that requires you to be on-site and includes some off-shift work and occasional weekend activities. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Basic Qualifications
- Active DOD Top Secret clearance, with the ability to maintain that clearance level throughout the position lifecycle.
- Current DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II or III certification (i.e. CompTIA Security+, CISSP, etc.), with the ability to maintain that certification throughout the position lifecycle.
- U.S. Citizenship is a requirement to work at this facility (No dual citizenship).
- Ability to move, rack, stack and install physical equipment by lifting up to 50 lbs. independently.
- Experience with Windows Server user account management, administration and access controls
- Experience in applying DISA STIGs and resolving security vulnerabilities
- Experience administering Microsoft's Windows Server (i.e. 2016, 2019 or 2022) operating system functions, security policies and technical security safeguards
Desired skills
Bachelors of Science degree from accredited University
Systems Administration experience supporting United States Government classified environments
Experience with Scripting and Automation (i.e., Ansible, Perl, Bash, Shell Scripting, PowerShell, etc.).
Fundamental understanding of the OSI model
Fundamental understanding of authentication mechanisms such as Kerberos, LDAP and NTLM and use of necessary tools to troubleshoot them
Knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, SMTP, NFS, FTP, Telnet and SSH
VMware experience (VSphere vCenter, ESXi, KVM)
Demonstrated experience with Cisco switching technology
Experience with network-attached storage or storage area networks
Red Hat Certified System Administrator certification equivalent or higher
VMware Certified Professional certification
Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA)

For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
