The Director of Demand Planning will lead the demand planning function to drive accurate forecasting, inventory optimization, and alignment with business objectives. This role plays a critical part in enhancing forecast accuracy, supporting the Sales Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) process, and collaborating cross-functionally to enable global business growth.

Your Impact
The Director of Demand Planning will lead the demand planning function to drive accurate forecasting, inventory optimization, and alignment with business objectives. This role plays a critical part in enhancing forecast accuracy, supporting the Sales Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) process, and collaborating cross-functionally to enable global business growth.
What You'll Do
- Develop and implement demand planning strategies to improve forecast accuracy and inventory management across multiple business units
- Own customer data analytics (SPS and other key inputs) to inform future demand and monthly purchasing decisions.
- Generate demand plans by region and channel that align with commercial and financial targets.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing demand planning team.
- Drive the SIOP process, ensuring alignment with business unit leaders, supply planning, logistics, manufacturing, and finance.
- Leverage data analytics, market trends, and forecasting tools-experience with AI tools is a plus.
- Develop, monitor, and report key performance indicators (KPIs), including forecast accuracy, inventory turnover, and service levels.
- Optimize inventory strategies to balance product availability with cost efficiency.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance demand planning effectiveness.
- Present insights, recommendations, and strategic plans to senior leadership.
- Function as a decisive leader, fostering collaboration and building consensus across teams.
- Proactively identify root causes of issues and develop innovative solutions.
What You've Accomplished
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 10+ years of leadership experience in demand planning, forecasting, or inventory management.
- Proficiency in Power BI, D365, and other planning tools.
- Strong analytical skills and expertise in driving SIOP processes.
- Proven ability to lead process improvements and execute strategic initiatives.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
