The Royal Caribbean Group's Marketing team has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Lead, Integrated Strategic Planning reporting to the Director, Integrated Strategic Planning.

Position is onsite and based in Miami, FL

The Lead, Integrated Strategic Planning will proactively strategize, lead, plan, and drive activities necessary for the projects to ensure project completion within prescribed time frame and budget. Function as an in-house process driver and enabler of a highly dynamic environment. Projects assigned are typically high priority, high profile, and multi-departmental initiatives for the organization and thus require continuous communication, presentations, and interaction with the project team and department executives. Helps manage all aspects of project planning, tracking, budget adherence and status reporting.

Holds the Product Development and Operational Excellence teams accountable for project deliverables, deadlines, and budget compliance. Conducts oversight in the team's project progression and success to avoid delays, missed deadlines or over budget occurrences. This position requires extreme organization with an eye for detail, motivation to keep others on track to ensure that projects deliver on time and collaboration to effectively communicate often complicated marketing initiatives to a wide range of recipients to ensure that all channels understand the product nuances to effectively communicate across channels. Demonstrates ability to effectively organize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. A team player who can lead and work independently is key. A positive can-do attitude is also crucial.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for day-to-day strategic planning function on high impact and strategic projects
  • Develop project plans and timelines for business-focused initiatives in product development, innovation, and brand marketing
  • Utilizes program management tools to support and oversee success track of various programs projects.
  • Fosters relationship with cross-functional working teams to ensure delivery of business solutions that achieve strategic goals and objectives.
  • Ensures project deliverables are met on time and on budget.
  • Standardize record keeping, Playbooks, SOPs, document governance methods and locations.
  • Prepares, and organizes the communication of the project plan / track status on a regular basis to project stakeholders and leadership.
  • Oversee and manage project communication efforts, including writing and disseminating project communications, conducting regular project status calls, and responding to team members' communications.
  • Responsible for Director in identifying, developing, and implementing process improvements to drive agility and value to product development, operational excellence and internal stakeholder teams
  • Prepares, and organizes the communication of the project plan / track status on a regular basis to project stakeholders and leadership.
  • Follow-up with internal and external team members to meet project deadlines and provide input on team member activities for scheduled review process.
  • Oversees the time coordination and execution of major activities (meetings, workshops) to ensure project progresses on schedule and accurately reflects current project status through regular updates of tasks and statuses.
  • Oversee and manage project communication efforts, including writing and disseminating project communications, conducting regular project status calls, and responding to team members' communications.
  • Provide regular updates, reports, and presentations on project status, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership.
  • Delivers against a rigorous calendar of all project deliverables and milestones.
  • Provides ongoing competitive analysis as needed.
  • Performs other duties as required.


Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, business strategy, product development, and brand marketing.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering business solutions through strategic projects.
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, and business acumen.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Adept in presentation preparation and visualization of processes and timeline.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Experience in the hospitality or consumer products industry preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Positive attitude, professional demeanor.
  • Intuitive, Proactive, Collaborative, Organized, Dependable, Leader, Driver, Creative problem solver, Versatile.
  • A strong understanding of business objectives.
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate and articulate project needs clearly.

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft office Tools (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint) in order to ensure the completion of documents, presentations and reports.
