CDFW's Data and Technology Division (DTD) is an integral part of the Information Technology (IT) support system and the Information Technology Supervisor II (IT Sup II) is responsible for managing the Information Technology Help Desk/Asset Management/Administrative Unit. The IT Helpdesk is responsible for providing support to the CDFW staff on all facets of information technology and services. Being the initial contact for all IT requests, we provide CDFW staff with the highest quality customer support for their IT needs.
To further support the organization, the IT Sup II manages the IT asset management process of tracking, managing, and disposing of the CDFW IT assets throughout their lifecycle. The IT Sup II is the Human Resources Liaison for the DTD ensuring the division resources are accurately tracked and managed. Provides non-IT procurement support for DTD as needed.
In order to be eligible for this position, you must either be transfer eligible or take and pass the following exam.

Working Conditions
Ability to work at a desk using a computer keyboard several hours a day. Involves sitting most of the workday but may require walking or standing. Attend meetings and work with staff statewide to complete work assignments. Occasional travel (approximately 5-10%) may be required via private or public transportation. Ability to use a computer keyboard several hours a day, as well as being on the phone. Operate various IT equipment daily and occasionally move equipment either solely (50 lbs. max.) or with another person (100 lbs. max.)
This position qualifies for Public Service Loan Forgiveness Accrual Credit .
