A Snapshot of the Day This Human Resources Business Partner Lead position will lead a team of 4-6 HR business partners and be the key HR contact for a subset of leaders in North America, with a focus on Gas Services Manufacturing! This position will partner with the management teams to deliver consultative HR services aligned to the business strategy. This position will have the ability to understand the business, the strategy, and the mission to deliver integrated Human Resources management services and programs across the business. The successful incumbent to this position will be in Charlotte, NC.
The position will provide a full range of Human Resources support and expertise to leaders within the responsible hub which covers a special focal point on Gas Services Manufacturing. As a trusted partner to and a member of the local senior leadership team, you will bring an independent viewpoint and HR expertise to business issues.
How You'll Make an Impact
  • Proactively drive HR strategy within organization as aligned with business goals.
  • Provide coaching to managers to accelerate leadership development and promote inclusivity in hiring, promotion, job rotations, etc.
  • Advise with partnered organization on strategies and communications designed to create a work environment that drives individual and team success and retention.
  • Partner with the leadership team on talent development and performance management to improve employee contributions and address performance gaps.
  • Identify needs for change management and champion related activities.
  • Provide counsel to managers and employees consistent with Siemens Energy policies and partner with HR specializations to support the business.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field such as Human Resources or Organizational Development. Master's degree and SHRM or HRCI Certification preferred.
  • 10+ years of successful experience in a human resources business partner capacity with successful demonstration of the key responsibilities as presented above.
  • Ability to prioritize, analyze, problem-solve, and make decisions rapidly and with positive outcomes and effectively, in both written and oral presentation skills and ability to support and collaborate with managers and employees in the administration, interpretation and application of policies and procedures.
  • Ability to research and analyze information, make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues, by using judgment that is in consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulation, or government law.
  • Ability to demonstrate leadership skills, professionalism, and a positive team attitude and travel approximately 20% of the time.
