The Regional/External Wealth Management Consultant, is responsible for supporting Janney Financial Advisors, Branch Managers and Regional Managers to educate and support the growth of our Advisory, proprietary, HNW and Alternatives platform along with coordination across all of Wealth Management verticals. Travel of 40-50% is expected, reporting to the Director of Wealth Management Consulting. This role will serve as a point person across a Janney region for sales and consulting of all WM offerings with daily interactions with all Advisors and home office employees across the firm.

- Advisory/Managed Accounts/Alternatives knowledge - experience of Advisory fee-based programs and platforms as well as Alternative Investments
- Initiative - identifying ways to improve the Advisory Advisor and Client experience
- Client Service - keeping the needs of Advisors and teams, front of mind
- Relationship Management - coordinating with various individuals across the firm
Responsibilities:
- Travel within designated territory to develop collaborative and influential relationship with FAs, Branch and Regional Managers regarding the Firm's top priorities and goals
- Provide education in branches on Advisory, proprietary solutions, HNW and Alternatives and serve as a liaison for all Wealth Management subject matter experts across all WM verticals
- Work closely with the Internal Advisory Consultants to provide superior proactive service and create continuity between branch visits
- Partner closely with Advisory programs to assist in training, education and growth of Alternative Investments Platform.
- Drive Advisory, Alternative Investments, HNW and JCM Adoption
- Continue the on-going effort of demoing/educating/supporting the technology improvements delivered from home office
- Assist in testing newly on-going technology efforts delivered by Advisory and coordinate with team on defects/bugs
- Ensure team coordinates with WM SME's for Insurance, Alternatives, Retirement, Lending, Planning for branch travel
- Continue to receive feedback from Advisors and provide commentary to Advisory technology for continuous development and WM Research on Investment Product roster
- Help guide Advisors to leverage Advisory Investment Products for portfolio construction
- Provide bi-weekly reporting to Director of Wealth Management Consulting
- Track opportunities to move to Advisory including prospects from PCT to a follow-up call
- Identify brokerage conversions to help externals drive assets
- Identify ways to proactively engage with our Advisors
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance
- Minimum of 7-10 years of Advisory/Managed Accounts background
- Understand the operational and regulatory needs of Investment and complex products
- Ability to work in a self-directed manner with high level of initiative, attention to detail, ability to multi-task & prioritize and provide superior customer service to our Advisors
- Proven written and oral communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of audiences
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain relationships at all organizational levels
- Hybrid role with the ability to travel 40-60% of time
