LOCATION: Dallas / Fort Worth, TX

ENVIRONMENT: HYBRID (4 days per week in office)

COMPENSATION: $150k - $165k plus bonus and a strong benefits package

OVERVIEW: Director of Finance

We are looking for a Director of Finance to join an industry-leading organization to lead key financial efforts over Multiple Warehouse / Supply Chain and Logistics / Inventory management. This role will focus on providing financial planning, debt financing, and budget management for this company. The ideal candidate will be able to analyze, understand, and continually improve all accounting procedures for this operation.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Director of Finance

• Administering company accounting principles, practices, and procedures
• Proactive leadership of the financial analysis, administrative, and accounting functions
• Leading the audit function including maintaining effective internal controls and insuring adherence to corporate policies & procedures
• Oversee and review the CAPEX process including annual budget management and submissions and justifications.
• Performance of timely variance analyses
• Providing management with independent, forward-looking financial & operational insights
• Providing strategic support while acting as a resource to senior management
• Providing ROI and discounted cash flow analyses
• Administering company accounting principles, practices, and procedures
• Maintaining all financial records as well as reporting on operational performance
• Overseeing all cost accounting, budgeting, planning, and procedural controls
• Direct management of employees

REQUIREMENTS: Director of Finance

• Has over a decade of experience in financial and accounting roles
• Has worked in financial and accounting positions
• Has experience in project or construction accounting
• Holds a Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or a related field (mandatory), and an MBA and/or CPA (preferred)
• Has a proven track record of creating business plans, budgets, and forecasts
• Possesses expertise in financial & operational variance analysis
• Skilled in maintaining effective internal controls
• Has a proven record of managing accounting practices and procedures
• Has advanced Excel skills
