The Role We are seeking a Project Manager who will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects while ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires someone who can effectively lead cross-functional teams, manage client expectations, and deliver consistent value through technological solutions.

The Role We are seeking a Project Manager who will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects while ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires someone who can effectively lead cross-functional teams, manage client expectations, and deliver consistent value through technological solutions.
Key Responsibilities Project Planning and Execution
- Develop comprehensive project plans including timelines, resource requirements, budgets, and risk management strategies
- Lead project kickoff meetings and establish clear communication channels with all stakeholders
- Coordinate and allocate resources effectively across project activities and phases
- Implement and maintain project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches as appropriate)
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure deliverables meet quality standards
- Conduct regular status meetings and provide detailed progress reports to stakeholders
- Manage project documentation including requirements, technical specifications, and change requests
Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal team members
- Proactively communicate project status, risks, and changes to all stakeholders
- Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and ensure alignment between client needs and project deliverables
- Manage client expectations and resolve conflicts or issues that arise during project execution
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure solutions meet client requirements and adhere to industry best practices
- Coordinate with business development teams to identify expansion opportunities within existing client engagements
- Lead post-implementation reviews to capture lessons learned and best practices
Team Leadership
- Mentor and guide project team members to achieve project objectives
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between development, QA, and operations teams
- Remove obstacles and provide support to ensure team productivity and project success
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within project teams
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in technology project management
- PMP certification or equivalent project management credential
- Demonstrated experience managing full project lifecycle for technology implementation projects
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)
- Experience with project management tools (JIRA, Microsoft Project, Asana, etc.)
- Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking
- Experience working with federal government clients and understanding of federal procurement processes
- Familiarity with IT service management frameworks (ITIL, DevOps)
- Proven track record of delivering complex technology projects on time and within budget
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Must be located in the Washington DC Metro Area
