About the Role:

OLAPLEX seeks a hands-on IT Infrastructure and Operations (I & O) Leader accountable for an agile, scalable, secure, resilient, and cost-effective technical I & O landscape and operating model while also planning and implementing strategies to improve efficiency and productivity further.

This position will report to the Chief Information Officer. You will work with the Chief Information Officer and IT Business Solutions Leaders to develop and foster relationships with business leaders and third-party partners and to define an IT strategic plan aligned with enterprise strategic objectives.

A key focus of this role will be driving standardization, governance, customer satisfaction, and business results. To achieve success, the role requires you to be a collaborative leader possessing exceptional technical expertise, a strategic mindset, and a passion for innovation balanced with solid business-minded decision-making. You must also be able to build and develop teams and partner with internal IT talent, external IT providers, and internal business stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and implement IT I & O strategic roadmap and plans in collaboration with other IT leaders and business stakeholders to ensure alignment with enterprise objectives
  • Implement best practices and continuous improvement processes to optimize performance and cost-effectiveness
  • Ensure IT I & O complies with relevant regulatory requirements and industry best practices
  • Identify and assess emerging technologies and their potential impact on the organization
  • Partner with Cyber Security Leader to ensure robust security protocols are in place to protect the organization's data, systems, and networks from cyber threats
  • Develop, implement, and regularly test disaster recovery and business continuity plans, ensuring the organization can quickly recover from outages or disasters
  • Drive successful IT transformations and transitions, whether through new software, infrastructure updates, or organizational shifts
  • Ensure changes are implemented with minimal disruption, maximum buy-in from stakeholders, and compliant with relevant regulatory requirements
  • Lead and mentor team and mentor other IT team members to develop talent, ensuring that staff have the necessary skills to adapt to emerging technologies
  • Manage performance, conduct evaluations, and foster a positive and productive work environment
  • Promote a culture of innovation and continual learning, encouraging the exploration of new solutions to drive business agility and competitive advantage
  • Lead teams in troubleshooting and resolving critical IT incidents quickly and effectively, minimizing service disruptions and ensuring business continuity
  • Lead teams in identifying and mitigating root cause, reducing likelihood of future recurrence, and quantifying business impact
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks before they escalate into problems
  • Own the IT I & O budget and ensure cost-effective utilization of IT resources
  • Establish and ensure adherence to IT policies, procedures, and processes
  • Define and measure service levels to ensure stakeholder needs are met or exceeded
About You:

You are a self-starter, proactive communicator, problem solver, and continuous learner. Your awareness of technology trends and developments ensures that solutions address opportunities today and for the future state of the business.
  • Broad technical knowledge and experience complimented with deep proficiency in several areas of IT infrastructure such as servers, networks, storage systems, cloud technologies, and "X"-as-a-service
  • Experience negotiating and delivering on IT vendor and service provider contracts that include clear expectations of deliverables, costs, timeframe, and penalties for underperformance - successful experience with value-based contracts is a plus
  • Proven track record of driving change and innovation in IT operations and service delivery with thoughtful consideration of the organization while balancing the need to achieve meaningful results timely
  • Strong understanding of customer experience principles and service delivery excellence
  • Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity program implementation and maintenance (testing) experience
  • Excellent communication, negotiating, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and service level requirements for the IT I & O teams to deliver capabilities successfully
  • Ability to translate and communicate IT I & O requirements and capabilities to non-technical audiences
  • Leadership experience - direct or indirect leadership and management of teams, projects, and resources
  • Budget/Financial management responsibility
  • Effective change champion, ensuring others understand and quickly become self-sufficient in new ways of working
  • Action orientation while ensuring stakeholders are informed and aligned
  • Coach and mentor

Our Total Rewards:

The annual base pay for this position is $180,000 - $225,000 with eligibility for an annual bonus. The actual base pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, years of relevant experience, skill level, functional expertise, certificates or other professional licenses held and geographic location.
