General Summary

Provides clinical and administrative services involving medical care to patients in an urgent care setting.

Responsibilities

WellSpan is actively seeking a board certified/board eligible Family Physician to join our growing Urgent Care team in Lewisburg, PA - the heart of Central Pennsylvania!

What you can expect at your practice:
  • Practice located on WellSpan Evangelical Community Hospital campus
  • Join 4 experienced APPs with opportunity to supervise 3 PAs
  • Work three 13-hour shifts weekly - allows for work/ life harmony
  • Every 3rd weekend rotation - which counts towards your 3 shifts per week
  • Digital X-ray and lab services onsite; No call and excellent compensation
  • Will see pediatrics through geriatrics

Qualifications

Qualifications

Minimum Education:
  • Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required or
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required

Licenses:
  • Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required and
  • Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or
  • Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:
  • Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine or the American Osteopathic Board of Family Medicine or Board eligible. Upon Hire Required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Clinical skills and knowledge of emergency care, techniques and procedures.
  • Teaching skills.
