The U.S. Healthcare industry is going through a transformation. Patients want access to better healthcare tools and experiences and healthcare systems are stretched beyond capacity and adapting to the new normal after the pandemic. In this role you'll be working on the Care Team who is building the future of musculoskeletal health in the country as a part of our new Pathways product. This role reports directly to the Director of Software Engineering.

Responsibilities:

• Recruit, hire, and mentor high performing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective software engineers
• Oversee the delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope
• Build strong relationships with team members and across functions
• Enhance team efficiency and product quality by refining engineering processes and following best practices.
• Ensure alignment with the overall technical strategy and architecture

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience (7+ years) in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role
• Strong background and technical capabilities in SaaS architectures with expertise building web services and in-depth knowledge of relational databases.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate with users, product management, and leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy
• Ability to break down complex projects into smaller pieces and lead the iterative design and implementation process

Salary Range: $165,000 - $220,000

At MedBridge, salary ranges are assigned to a job based on 3rd party salary benchmark surveys. Individual pay within this range is informed by the candidate's skills, capabilities and experience.
