Targa is currently seeking an NGL Marketing Representative for their Corporate office located in Houston, TX
JOB FUNCTIONS AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Fielding customer inquiries, developing lasting commercial relationships and assisting in Business Development efforts.
- Oversee customer accounts, contract negotiations and profitability of existing NGL marketing business.
- Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reporting to Targa management.
- Provide analytical support to Targa's Condensate Marketing group (TCM) to include constructing commercial and operational spreadsheets to inform, organize, and improve communication.
- Coordinate deliveries via truck, rail, pipeline, and barge with Transportation/Distribution Department.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels at plants and Mt. Belvieu.
- Conduct weekly contract performance reporting.
- Manage accounts receivable timeliness and credit limits with customer accounts.
- Generate business performance reports.
- Participate in Targa's morning trading meeting and Targa's afternoon distribution meeting.
- Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 5 years NGL/Crude Analyst experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability and willingness to travel by car or air, including nights and weekends
- Ability to work a hybrid office/home schedule
- Experience in using Microsoft Office, and related computer communication and analysis tools
- Regular and reliable attendance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in business or economics preferred.
- Evidence of prior success in previous roles
- Familiarity with Right Angle, Microsoft Excel software and Targa business processes.
