Pay Type: Salary, bi-weekly.
Work Location: 1401 Landmark Drive, Cottage Grove, WI, 53527.
Core Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm.

Director of Logistics Essential Responsibilities:
The Director of Logistics will oversee planning, directing, and coordinating all the activities related to truck transportation operations within an organization or company. They direct activities related to dispatching, pricing, and managing transportation vehicles, employees, and vendors. Our Logistics Drivers locally deliver uncontaminated loads of seed, grain, fertilizer, refined fuel, LP, and other farming related products. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work and always goes the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction.

Director of Logistics Essential Responsibilities:

- Manage a diverse group of CDL drivers, which include Hazmat and Tanker drivers both full time and seasonal
- Responsible for P&L of the transportation company operating within ALCIVIA
- Responsible for operations and equipment within ALCIVIA's Transportation Company
- Assign efficient routes and loads to internal and external drivers
- Collaborate with ALCIVIA division leaders to ensure seamless execution of Grain, Fertilizer, Animal Nutrition and Energy
- Responsible for company ELD, dispatching and fleet tracking technology
- Collaborate with Fleet Coordinator to maintain adequate fleet
- Investigates, verifies, and resolves customer complaints
- In charge of implementing schedule, policy, and pricing changes
- Works with other managers and staff members to make and implement policies, processes, and objectives
- Monitors operations to ensure that staff members comply with the company rules, safety procedures and government regulations
- Monitor spending to make sure that expenses are consistent with the approved budget
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Director of Logistics Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in Transportation Systems, Finance, Business Operations, Agriculture
- Minimum 8-12 years' experience at a director/management level role or above in an operation of similar size and function
