We are excited to add a Project Manager & Engineerto our growing team at Dinex Emission! This is a full-time, in-person position located in Dublin, GA.

The Project Manager & Engineer supports the successful execution of engineering projects by combining technical expertise with strong organizational and leadership skills. This role involves managing project timelines, budgets, and resources, while also contributing to the design, planning, and implementation of engineering solutions. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of balancing both project management responsibilities and hands-on engineering tasks

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Lead key ATS customer projects from business case to serial start following the Dinex APQP process.
  • Support Sales with technical and costing inputs for acquiring new projects with product sizing and selection to fit customer requirements.
  • Technical support to customers in terms of product knowledge and product functionality on customer applications for ATS canning applications.
  • Close collaboration with the R&D & Group Application to keep updated with the latest development concepts and with the global sales team to provide hands-on technical expertise to the commercial discussions.
  • Data collection for the purpose of product selection and technical proposal preparation for submission.
  • ATS Canning Manufacturability Process Study and Costing.
  • Serve as key contact in Dinex towards Customer PM and Partner PM throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate and manage internal project activities with Technology, Application Engineering, Testing, NPI, SCM / Purchasing and Production.
  • Responsible for project management deliverables - product demand, project plans, action lists, status reports, investments, cost & resource overviews.
  • Accountable for timely readiness of deliverables from other workstreams in the project.
  • Manage project-level risks and opportunities pertaining to time delays, quality issues, cost overruns and warranty claims.
  • Manage work completion and handover certificates with customers and suppliers during the project.
  • Keep stakeholders informed and engaged.
  • Work on various improvement and standardization initiatives.
  • Promote project management knowledge and best practice sharing in Dinex Group.
  • Overseas travel to other Dinex and customer locations for approx. 3 months a year.

Qualifications
  • 5-10 years of experience in managing customer projects in new product development for engine emission reduction technologies within exhaust after-treatment system industry or similar.
  • Technical know-how of structural design, GD&T, Simulations, Performance, and durability testing of ATS & PTS systems.
  • Know-how of product development for catalyst products.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Formal training or certification in Project Management.
  • Possess sound commercial and risk judgement.
  • Self-driven, result-oriented and flexible in working approach, team leader as well as team player.
  • Applies proactive and frontloading approach in project management with 'customer-first' mindset.
  • Good at leading multi-cultural teams to identify and solve issues and able to go in details where needed.
  • Structured, fact-based and analytical in working approach.
  • Good at documenting and reporting on project meetings and program/project portfolio progress.
  • Work well in stressful situations and able to juggle between multiple projects and topics at a time.
  • Intermediate user of Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word and SolidWorks.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
