Job Purpose and Position Overview:

This individual is responsible for architecting and elevating our corporate brand by defining a clear, authentic brand narrative and building high-impact strategic partnerships. This role will unify how customers, employees, and partners engage with us-both online and in the market.

This individual will collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, HR, sales, and executive leadership to ensure our brand aligns with business strategy, drives employee pride and belonging, and opens doors to innovation and market expansion. They will be a storyteller, strategist, and connector, building brand equity while forging the kind of partnerships that expand reach, credibility, and long-term value.

Job Function:
  • Demonstrates commitment to the Company's mission, vision, and core values
  • Performs work duties within the assigned work environment related to the position, as assigned by BigIron
  • Prepares for and actively participates in meetings, both on a departmental level and on a company level
  • Ability to coach, lead, manage, and instruct/train employees and contractors
  • Develop and execute a plan to achieve the Company's sales budget numbers monthly, quarterly, and yearly
  • Complies with BigIron policies and procedures as published by BigIron and which may be modified from time to time; takes steps to ensure that all direct reports do so as well
  • Uses good judgement, discretion, and integrity to review, research, and resolve issues. Considers all factors and takes appropriate action, making good decisions that contribute to the success of direct report employees, and the achievement of BigIron objectives; makes decision regarding matters of importance, including decisions regarding complex issues that have been elevated by direct reports
  • Willingly completes other duties and takes on special projects as assigned or as necessary
  • Ability to travel as appropriate


Brand Strategy and Stewardship
  • Develop and lead a comprehensive corporate brand strategy that elevates awareness, trust, and differentiation in key markets
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all touchpoints-internal and external, digital and physical
  • Partner with executive leadership to evolve brand positioning in alignment with business goals, market shifts, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Research market, competition, and customer insights needed to develop strong messaging that resonates with the audience and stay current with industry trends
  • Create and manage market-specific content and collateral
  • Execute marketing plans on-time and on-budget
  • Manage, execute, and attend corporate tradeshows
  • Oversee the creation of high-impact content-case studies, executive viewpoints, industry insights-that reinforce the company's credibility and point of view
  • Support the visibility of executive leadership through strategic speaking opportunities, media appearances, and thought leadership platforms


Strategic Partnerships and Ecosystem Growth
  • Identify, negotiate, and manage strategic partnerships that amplify brand reach, create mutual value, and support business development
  • Build and nurture relationships with industry associations, event organizers, media partners, and technology collaborators
  • Lead co-branded initiatives, sponsorships, and joint ventures that position the company as a leader in online equipment and land auctions


Resource Management
  • Work directly with sales leadership to ensure strategies are in alignment with business goals
  • Execute marketing programs from start to finish, driving collaboration with the stakeholders and leveraging the right internal processes
  • Manage team of Marketing professionals


Reporting
  • Track and report on overall effectiveness and ROI of each campaign
  • Make data-driven decisions and recommendations that translate results into actionable insights for the organization
  • Manage campaign-related budgets


Requirements

Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree, preferred, in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
  • Five years of marketing experience in a fast-paced environment, with experience in both print and digital media
  • Content and storytelling abilities that will be necessary for the development of creative marketing materials in all forms of media
  • Strategic thinking and leadership skills necessary
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
