SUMMARY OBJECTIVE OF THE JOB:
A Business Development Representative is responsible for pro-active outbound prospecting and lead management. This position will have a direct impact on our success by qualifying prospects from lead status into the sales pipeline. The business development representative will seek out and build new business for NMB. This not only involves finding new customers for existing applications for NMB Motors, but also finding entirely new customers and applications.

No Supervisory qualifications are required for this position.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
A normal amount of sitting and standing, average mobility to move around an office, and ability to conduct a normal amount of work on a computer.
SALARY
At NMB, the pay band for this role is between $76,160.00 and $114,240.00 annually, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. The base pay is a part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range of the pay band process. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify and qualify opportunities from lead generation activities, inbound product inquires and outbound calling into targeted lists
- Penetrate and develop key contacts within prospect accounts
- Develop an effective pipeline of new projects and customers
- Recommend appropriate follow-up action plans
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual goals
- Use understanding of internal processes and resources to effectively execute the sales cycle
- Develop accounts by checking customer's buying history; suggesting related and new items; explaining technical features
- Work on special projects as needed
- Attend customer meetings as required
- Participate in sales meetings, visit trade shows, and internal product training in order to maintain up to date knowledge of current technology
- Perform other duties as related to the job function as required
JOB QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS/COMPETENCIES:
- BS/BA Degree Marketing/Business preferred
- A minimum of one year of tele-selling or lead generation experience
- Highly organized and able to maintain high productivity and standards with minimal oversight Confident, decisive self-starter who is able to work independently
- Possess strong telephone communication skills and can build relationships over the telephone
- Excellent phone and computer skills; Computer skills required: Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Ability to understand others perspective to generate opportunities, should be able to use consultative selling skills to clearly understand customers' business requirements
- Be self-directed and capable of prioritizing opportunities and performing multiple tasks Disciplined, organized and detail-oriented
- Possess the ability to work with a team
- Understanding of workflow systems of the organization and their various applications to the improvement of customer business process
- Problem Solver
- Strong communication skills Must be a good communicator; he/she must have the ability to interact and communicate with individuals no matter their levels in the organization
