Technical Business Analyst - Hybrid (Novi, MI)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Technical Business Analyst to join our team. This role bridges the gap between business needs and technology solutions, ensuring our products and systems align with strategic goals. You will work closely with stakeholders, developers, and project managers to analyze, document, and deliver high-quality technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather, define, and document requirements for new projects, enhancements, and integrations.
• Analyze complex business problems and processes, translating them into functional and non-functional requirements.
• Develop detailed business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and use cases.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and meetings with stakeholders to understand pain points, needs, and workflows.
• Create and maintain process maps, wireframes, and user stories in collaboration with UX and product teams.
• Work with developers and QA teams to ensure solutions meet business expectations.
• Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) by developing test cases and coordinating with business users.
• Participate in agile ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
• Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
• Identify areas for process improvement and propose scalable solutions.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience as a Technical or IT Business Analyst.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), agile, and waterfall methodologies.
• Ability to understand and analyze technical systems and integrations (e.g., APIs, databases, cloud platforms).
• Proficient in business analysis tools like JIRA, Confluence, Lucidchart, or Microsoft Visio.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
