Description:

NOVOS FiBER, a leading provider of Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) internet services, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Fiber Engineer with a specialization in FTTH Design and GIS platforms. This role is necessary to ensure projects maintain standardization and follow municipality guidelines. The main duties of this position are listed below.

We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Senior Financial Planning & Accounting Analyst to lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for our telecom operations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring financial accuracy, transparency, and insight, supporting decision-making across business units.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):

Lead the development of annual budgets, long-term strategic plans, and rolling forecasts.

Analyze financial performance, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.

Partner with business units (e.g., Network Ops, Sales, Customer Care) to align financial goals with operational targets.

Prepare management reports, variance analyses, and executive dashboards.

Accounting & Reporting:

Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes in collaboration with accounting teams.

Ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP and internal financial policies.

Support external audits and tax filing processes with accurate financial documentation.

Reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure journal entries are accurate and timely.

Telecom-Specific Financial Oversight:

Track and report on CAPEX/OPEX related to telecom infrastructure, spectrum licenses, and technology investments.

Analyze subscriber profitability, ARPU, churn-related financial impacts, and cost-to-serve metrics.

Collaborate with engineering and network teams for financial modeling of network expansion projects.

Systems & Process Improvement:

Drive automation and continuous improvement in financial processes.

Support finance transformation initiatives and ERP upgrades or integrations.

Utilize financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion) for reporting and analysis.

Requirements:

Education & Certifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's or MBA preferred)

CPA, ACCA, or CIMA certification is a strong asset

Experience:

6-10 years in financial planning and accounting roles, with at least 3 years in the telecom industry

Strong understanding of telecom revenue streams, cost structures, and financial KPIs

Skills:

Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills

Proficient in ERP systems and financial planning tools (SAP, Oracle, TM1, Power BI, etc.)

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work cross-functionally

Preferred Qualities:

Proactive and self-driven, with a strong sense of ownership

Experience working in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment

Comfortable presenting to senior leadership and external stakeholders
