PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:
The Product Manager is primarily responsible for overseeing the development, management, and optimization of the bank's products and services. This involves ensuring the bank's products align with customer needs, market trends, and regulatory requirements, while supporting the strategic direction of the bank.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:
The Product Manager is primarily responsible for overseeing the development, management, and optimization of the bank's products and services. This involves ensuring the bank's products align with customer needs, market trends, and regulatory requirements, while supporting the strategic direction of the bank.
JOB DUTIES:
- Execution of the product strategy, vision, and roadmap for new and existing products. The suite of products includes but is not limited to:
- Digital channels & embedded services
- Treasury Management Services & Products
- Debit Cards & Payments Services
- Deposit accounts (DDA, savings, CDs)
- Business & Consumer Loans (including residential mortgages)
- Merchant Services
- Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitive landscape to inform product strategy and enhance product offerings.
- Compile and analyze product related data sets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that drive business insights and strategy.
- Lead and manage end-to-end product related projects, from initiation through launch and post-launch support.
- Manage the entire product lifecycle, including defining product features, pricing, positioning, creating documentation, determining ongoing support needs, and overseeing product performance on an ongoing basis.
- Conduct periodic market research and customer analysis to understand market needs and preferences, using insights to inform product related decisions. Continuously assess and improve product offerings based on performance data, market shifts and evolving customer needs.
- Collaborate with customer facing teams to ensure products are meeting customer expectations. Foster a culture of innovation, encouraging new ideas and solutions to improve the Bank's products and services.
- Lead initiatives for product optimization and enhancement to ensure ongoing relevance.
- Identify risks or challenges within product offers, develop strategies to address them.
- Oversee the Bank's internal Pricing Committee. Prepare pricing recommendations and updates based on cost, competitor research and market analysis.
- Collaborates with various business lines to complete annual risk assessments for product offerings
- Assist business lines with continuous governance and customer monitoring activities such as periodic customer activity reviews and analysis.
- Oversee an ongoing training and education program for customer facing staff and customers regarding new bank products and services.
- Prepare and distribute regular product related reporting including ACH & Wire Transfer usage reports & product enrollment/activity reports.
- Engage in periodic data analysis and cleanup initiatives, including identifying missing information, correcting errors, and addressing inconsistencies within the bank's product and customer related data.
- Requires Periodic Presentation to one or more of the following groups:
- Compliance/Risk Committee
- Technology & Projects Steering Committee
- Executive Management
- The Board of Directors
- Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree, preferably in a business related field plus a minimum of 5 years of banking, financial services, product management, project management, or data analysis experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- PMP certification preferred
