Key Responsibilities:

  • You will be leading a mid-to-large team of sales representatives and driving profitable sales growth in an assigned territory
  • You'll be responsible to Recruit, Develop, Coach, and Support new and existing Sales Representatives, and ensure that they meet their weekly performance guidelines to exceed quota

  • Work directly with the General Manager, Regional Office and Corporate support team to evaluate and develop new local and/or regional new account acquisition opportunities
  • Build strong relationships, internally and externally, to ensure the overall success of new sales
  • Provide support in prospecting, setting appointments with prospects, understanding the industries we serve, learning our products and service solutions, presenting our value proposition, and exceeding a sales quota
  • Responsible for communicating updates, progress, challenges and opportunities to executive leadership
  • Monitor sales reports, take appropriate action, and communicate trends and market conditions to the Director and Vice President


Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • Minimum two years of business-to-business outside sales experience focused on new account generation, preferably selling a service
  • Minimum three years managing sales professionals using an account management approach (prospecting, selling, growing, maintaining, and retaining accounts)
  • Strong track record of accomplishments and demonstrated success managing sales professionals through the use of formal activity guidelines and technology-based measurement systems
  • Professional presence and proficiency in consultative selling skills
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and contact-management software such as Salesforce, ACT, etc.
  • Willing to travel, including some overnight travel
  • A valid driver's license
  • Successful completion of Criminal Background, Motor Vehicle Record, and Drug Screen checks

Compensation: The salary rate for this position ranges from 90k - 100k depending on circumstances including an applicant's skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. Sales commissions available based on incentive plan.
