Tasks and Deliverables:

Perform finite element analysis on assemblies with seal elements.
Specify materials and geometries for metal annulus seals and associated features
Write and review qualification test procedures.
Support troubleshooting of manufacturing and test issues and recommend solutions.

Success Measurements:

Successful PR2F and customer qualification test of new wellhead system seal.
Completion of all design verification and validation documents for the new seal.

Experience and Skills:

Degreed Engineer.
15+ years Oil & Gas industry experience, including experience with API 6A and/or API 17D.
Widely recognized subject matter expertise with finite element analysis and wellhead seals (Ansys).
Demonstrable prior experience developing new metal seals for wellhead annulus applications.
Understanding of vendor capabilities for metal and elastomeric seals.
Proficient in ANSYS.
Proficient in typical Microsoft applications, Outlook, Word, Excel.
