We are seeking a principal Technical Program Manager (TPM), to lead will lead program management to build the future of Registration and Verification technology for Amazon's worldwide sellers. This team leads solution delivery and program management of the technology used by the organization, end-to-end, unlocking the boldest ambitions of the org.

The optimal candidate should be experienced in managing cross-cutting technical products and projects with industry-wide impact. You will have a proven track record of planning and delivering complex programs with multi-year roadmap, using incremental delivery methods. You have experience working on complex software systems in a customer-centric environment, driven cross-group teams spread across multiple geographies and handled communication from engineers to VPs. We expect you to write strategic documents and influence large groups of senior stakeholders. You are able turn ambiguous problems into simple solutions. A successful candidate for this possesses superb business judgment, a high degree of customer-obsession, has a track record of delivering results, is strong on collaboration, and is data driven.
Key job responsibilities
\tWork with engineering, product management, operations, marketing, legal, etc. to deliver the Hiring solution, globally.
\tManage complex cross team programs from ideation to delivery.
\tCreate transparency and predictability with roadmaps, planning, and partner management.
\tManage delivery schedules and emergent tasks while mitigating risks, managing tradeoffs, and eliminating blockers.
\tParticipate in architectural decisions, surfacing and mitigating technical risks, driving complex integrations with internal and 3rd party solutions, retiring technical debt, and identifying. opportunity to create operational efficiencies.
\tSet and embody the team culture and standards consistent with Amazon's leadership principals.
\tDrive alignment with leadership in recruiting and partner tech teams.

The Registration and Verification team's mission include verifying the identity of every entity selling on Amazon, making it simple and fast for Sellers to register globally, and continuously improving operations to achieve accuracy, speed, and scale. We are the crucial center to build trust with Amazon's customers and enable growth of Amazon's seller ecosystem, worldwide.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
\t7+ years of technical product or program management experience
\t10+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams
\tExperience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
\tBachelors Degree or Equivalent
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
\tPost-graduate Degree in Computer science/Math or related field
\tExperience in delivering Amazon-scale systems
\t10+ years of executive communication. Effective written and oral communication with multiple levels of leadership involving both business and technical sides of the business
\t3+ years delivering AWS-native solutions
\tExperience with domain-driven design, micro-service and event-driven architectures, CI/CD engineering practices

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $175,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $302,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
