About this role:

The Technology for the Chief Operating Office (TCOO) organization, provides technology services for the Chief Operating Office . This includes operations, control executives, strategic execution, business continuity and resiliency, data solutions and services, regulatory relations, customer experience, enterprise shared services, supply chain management, and the corporate properties group. TCOO provides technology solutions and manages application portfolios for these groups to support modernization and optimization.

Within TCOO we are seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join the Enterprise Controls & Risk Programs Technology (ECRPT)) team. The ECRPT team supports Control Management, Global Privacy, Accessibility & Accommodation Risk, Enterprise Front Line Risk functions under the Chief Administrative Office. This role will lead various build outs of enterprise applications based on Microsoft Power App Platform.

In this role, you will:
  • Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas or the enterprise, delivering solutions that are long-term, large-scale and require vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytical and inductive thinking
  • Provide vision, direction and expertise to leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions
  • Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and new technologies and recommends innovations that enhance operations or provide a competitive advantage to the organization
  • Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across the enterprise and serve as an expert advisor to leadership
  • Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
  • Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals
  • Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor


Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 5+ years hands-on experience creating Microsoft Power Platform solutions and specifically creating applications for Microsoft Power Platform using Canvas and/or Model Driven frameworks
  • 5+ years of JavaScript experience interacting with ODATA and REST endpoints for Dynamics 365/Power Platform
  • 5+ years of experience working with Microsoft Dataverse and security within Microsoft Dynamics/Power Platform applications


Desired Qualifications:
  • Microsoft Dynamics or Power Platform certifications
  • Experience working with business teams to gather business requirements to create solutions
  • Experience in Agile, Scrum and Jira
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks along with work efforts simultaneously
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
  • Ability to determine the most efficient and effective solution to address the problem at hand and use of a wide variety of business tools to meet user needs
  • Problem-solving, recommendation formulation, execution orientation, strong analytics capabilities, continuous improvement and risk management skills
  • Ability to take initiative, work independently with strong planning, prioritization, and follow-up skills in a structured environment with minimal supervision
