Illumination Foundation (IF) is a growing non-profit organization dedicated towards disrupting the cycle of homelessness by providing targeted, interdisciplinary services in our recuperative care centers, emergency shelters, housing services and children's and family programs. IF currently has 13+ facilities with 22+ micro-communities scattered across Orange County, Los Angeles County and the Inland Empire.

Job Description

The Manager of Recuperative Care Services will provide leadership and be responsible for the oversight of all healthcare programs throughout Illumination Foundation, with a focus on Recuperative Care. Under the supervision of the VP/CEO, the Manager of Recuperative Care Services will spearhead system-wide initiatives to achieve organizational goals and improve the skills of our medical professionals in the delivery process. The Manager will have direct reports including the Manager of Children's and Behavioral Health Programs and the three Associate Managers of Medical.

The Pay Range for this role is $85,000-$100,000 per year.

Responsibilities

Program and Budget Oversight
  • Set and meet budgetary goals related to grant-funded programs; determine resources and activities needed to achieve organizational goals and make recommendations as needed.
  • Support in the development, implementation, and evaluation of healthcare programming with an emphasis on cost efficiency and quality care delivery.
  • Determine resources and activities needed to achieve organizational goals while prioritizing trauma-informed, low-barrier care models.


Team Leadership and Development
  • Supervise and develop the Care Coordination and Medical Leadership Team at the Recuperative Care programs by fostering accountability, promoting collaboration and strength-based leadership, and building a clinical competency training and development program for staff.
  • Create and oversee performance improvement initiatives and staff training programs.


Clinical Consultation and Collaboration
  • Consult on clinically and psycho-socially complex care with the Managers of Behavioral Health and Medical Care Coordination.
  • Collaborate with all three Associate Managers of Medical to develop systems that support an efficient and comprehensive care environment for both clients and staff.
  • Facilitate interdisciplinary team meetings to support continuity of care and comprehensive service planning.


Community Engagement and Partnership Building
  • Serve as a primary clinical contact with community partners by building partnerships with nursing schools and other healthcare-related academic institutions to advance IF's mission and improve client care and care coordination.
  • Represent the organization at community forums, advisory boards, and collaborative initiatives focused on healthcare and Recuperative Care.

Preferred Experience/Minimum Qualifications

Required:
  • 5 years+ of healthcare leadership experience or relevant leadership experience.
  • Experience/background with or care management.
  • Basic computer skills, including the ability to send and receive emails and summarize data in spreadsheets.
  • Valid CA Driver's License and eligibility for company vehicle insurance.

Preferred:
  • RN, LVN, LCSW, MPH, MBA, MHA
  • Experience working with vulnerable populations
  • Proficiency in MS Office
