Job Summary

The Senior Manager, Financial Analysis will play a key leadership role in driving financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making within a dynamic consulting firm. Supports the Senior Director of Corporate Global Reporting. This person will provide financial insights, lead performance analysis, and support of senior leadership in achieving the firm's financial and operational objectives. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally and autonomously to support business growth and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the firm's financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business goals.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic planning, scenario analysis, and decision-making.
  • Partner with business unit leaders to provide financial insights, track performance metrics, and drive profitability improvements.
  • Partner with Global Payroll and Total Rewards Office, to support compensation programs and year-end review process.
  • Develop and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, including variance analysis and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Support senior leadership with financial presentations, business reviews, and investor communications as needed.
  • Enhance FP&A processes, tools, and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
  • Collaborate with accounting, operations, and other departments to ensure data integrity and compliance with financial policies.
  • Lead and mentor a team of FP&A analysts, fostering professional development and high performance.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in financial planning & analysis, preferably within a consulting, professional services, or corporate finance environment.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and forecasting.
  • Advanced Excel and financial reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or similar systems).
  • Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Workday.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving ability, with a strategic mindset and attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Leadership experience with a track record of mentoring and developing high-performing teams.

The salary range is $150,000 - $170,000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. In addition, A&M offers a discretionary bonus program which is based on a number of factors, including individual and firm performance. Please ask your recruiter for details.

Regular employees working 30 or more hours per week are also entitled to participate in Alvarez & Marsal Holdings' fringe benefits consisting of healthcare plans, flexible spending and savings accounts, life, AD&D, and disability coverages at rates determined periodically as well as a 401(k) retirement savings plan. Provided the eligibility requirements are met, employees will also receive an annual discretionary contribution to their 401(k) retirement savings plan from Alvarez & Marsal. Additionally, employees are eligible for paid time off including vacation, personal days, seventy-two (72) hours of sick time (prorated for part time employees), ten federal holidays, one floating holiday, and parental leave.
