About the Role

The Regional Director of Sales, PATRIMONY provides strategic leadership for achieving annual sales and marketing objectives associated with the PATRIMONY brand through the creation, implementation, and execution of sales, distribution and educational activities.

The primary focus of the Regional Director of Sales is achieving distribution and volume goals for the East division by working directly with the key accounts throughout the division as well as working with TWE Luxury, TWE ICON and key Distributor personnel.

This is a remote opportunity and can be based in any major metro area in the Eastern U.S.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial acumen with regards to P&L, pricing, support
  • Work with the Patrimony National Sales Director, ICON and Luxury Sales Teams to develop and conduct assigned distributor team plans, periodic team reviews, market surveys, competitive pricing surveys, trade education, and general sales meetings with distributor fine wine teams
  • Acts as a strategic partner to Senior Leadership to develop and execute strategic business plans including developing sales goals and budgets, trade marketing programs, education programs, expense management and attainment of sales goals
  • Works with Sales and Marketing to establish price and brand/market investment strategies
  • Conduct routine sales activities such as market visits, sales meetings, trade shows, dinners and events
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key distributor personnel and accounts
  • Develop luxury account target lists, ensure that you and teams are driving distribution in these accounts, track all account activity, and work cross-functionally to ensure deadlines are met
  • Provide feedback to Senior Leadership of Sales & Marketing on market issues, opportunities, changes, distributor issues, and competitive activity for effective planning and programming


About you

  • You can keep current with trends and purchasing behaviors of luxury wine consumers
  • You have excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with an ability to work with a diverse group of people (e.g., executives, coworkers, staff, distributors, industry leaders, restaurant owners, buying managers, sommeliers)
  • You have excellent communication, presentation, and public-speaking skills
  • You possess deep knowledge of varietals, growing regions, and wine
  • You are proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Publisher, and PowerPoint
  • Position requires up to 75% travel and ability to work a flexible schedule when job duties dictate
  • You have a Minimum of ten+ years in luxury wine industry sales management
  • You have thorough wine knowledge
  • Preferred experience managing teams, including setting goals, hiring and terminating as appropriate, coaching, training, and managing team expenses and budgets
  • You reside in the Eastern U.S.
  • You have a Valid State Driver's License

Pay Transparency Disclosure: The annual base pay range offered for this position is $108,000 to $125,000 other benefits. These figures represent what we reasonably expect to pay for this position, but the actual compensation offered will depend upon numerous job-related factors, including but not limited to candidate qualifications, skills, experience, education, location, and alignment with market data.
