Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Project Coordination: Oversee the day-to-day activities of the development team to ensure timely and efficient progress on the app development.
- Product Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations across the various vendors to ensure that the product vision and strategy is executed. Refine and execute on the product development roadmap in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Team Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and QA, to deliver a high-quality and user-friendly product.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact between the development team and stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to identify customer needs and market trends and incorporate findings into the product development process.
- Agile Methodology: Implement and manage agile processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the app meets high standards of quality and performance through rigorous testing and feedback loops.
- Launch Planning: Develop and execute go-to-market strategies, including product launches, marketing campaigns, and user acquisition plans.
- Continuous Improvement: Gather and analyze user feedback to drive continuous improvement and iteration of the product.
- On-site Requirement: 5-days a week in San Diego, CA
Requirements
- Preferred Experience: 5 years of experience in product and project management, preferably in the tech industry. Experience in the home health industry is a plus.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Skills: Strong understanding of agile methodologies, excellent communication and leadership skills, and proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello). Experience with Slack and Microsoft products including Teams and Planner. At least a basic understanding of Figma, Github, connections with Google Cloud, Google Play Store, Apple App Store, Stripe, and ZenDesk. Ability to design visually engaging presentations and effectively utilize tools like Microsoft PowerPoint, Google Slides, and Prezi to communicate messages to stakeholders.
