About this opportunity:

The primary goal of the Major Account organization is to manage the business across TELUS and all regional operators (Videotron, Xplore, Eastlink, ...), from securing new business to execute the contracts signed with the different customers in line with customer expectation.

The sales director is in charge of securing and developing the business within the Account. The role is responsible for ensuring the extension of current contracts as well as promoting new solutions from the full Ericsson portfolio to support our Customers in growing their mobile business. The sales director is the prime interface for our customers for all contractual and sales topics. Internally, he/she is taking the role of the Account Commercial Responsible (ACR) and as such he is leading the Core 3 (ACR, CSR, CFR) to achieve the account objectives/targets and ensure overall customers satisfaction.

What You Will Do

  • Generate profitability sales and develop long term business
  • Follow financial status of different contracts and initiate improvement plans when necessary
  • Identify new business opportunities and drive sales activities to create demand
  • Develop account plans and strategies in alignment with customer needs and Ericsson's goals
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers and influencers at all levels within the customer organization
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with customers and partners
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders such as delivery, finance, legal, marketing, etc. to ensure smooth execution of projects
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports
  • Monitor market trends, competitors' activities, and customer feedback
  • Ensure compliance with Ericsson's policies and procedures


The Skills You Bring

  • Education: Master of Business Administration, Master of Science or similar years of experience
  • Min years of experience: 3-5 years of experience of relationship sales and within the ICT industry.
  • Strong understanding of Ericsson portfolio (specially BCSS portfolio)
  • Strong knowledge of Ericsson processes and tools
  • Knowledge of Telecom Canadian market challenges and opportunities
  • You will be a person that excels at problem solving and critical thinking
  • Your ability to enable teamwork and collaboration will be needed
  • Financial acumen as week as Innovative and creative thinking
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • You will be perseverant, as well as open minded, with a passion to win
  • French / English mandatory

Your Pay
The salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.

SIP: Your pay also includes the opportunity for sales incentives as a part of Ericsson's Sales Incentive Plan. Actual payouts are based on performance of the business against the unit's objectives, individual performance, and the individual incentive target. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply.

Employees will receive company credits in an amount equal to the cost of the Deluxe medical and dental plan coverages for themselves and eligible covered dependents.

Your Financial Security

We invest in both your short and long-term financial wellbeing. Ericsson's Group Retirement & Savings Program offers an automatic 2% company contribution into the Pension Plan. Ericsson also offers a 50% match of employee's contribution into the Registered Retirement Savings Plan, up to 8% of the employee's contribution (maximum of 4% match). This leads to a total company contribution potential of 6%. Employees will also receive company credits in an amount equal to the cost of basic life insurance and basic accidental death and dismemberment coverage, as well as short-term disability coverage. Employees also have the option to participate in Ericsson's Stock Purchase Plan.

Your Time

Your work-life balance is important to us. New employees are provided a minimum of 18 days of accrued vacation, 3-5 personal days (depending on role), 10 holidays, 1 volunteer day, and unlimited sick days. Please note paid time off is pro-rated based on the employee's start date. Furthermore, Ericsson provides up to 16 weeks of paid maternity leave and 6 weeks of parental or adoption leave at 100% of pay.
