THE OPPORTUNITY
The Product team is responsible for developing and delivering a full range of solutions designed to meet the full spectrum of a client's needs. We work cross functionally with partners in Digital Banking, Technology, Operations, Sales, Data, Legal, Compliance and more to identify, scope, set strategy, define a roadmap and develop products from inception to commercialization and beyond. This team is responsible for driving a significant part of the bank's innovation strategy. The VP, Product Manager will be responsible for leading and supporting various products depending on role alignment. You will play a key role in enhancing core capabilities and define our end-to-end product vision. Performs all duties in accordance with the Company's policies and procedures, all U.S. state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the Company operates.

THE OPPORTUNITY
The Product team is responsible for developing and delivering a full range of solutions designed to meet the full spectrum of a client's needs. We work cross functionally with partners in Digital Banking, Technology, Operations, Sales, Data, Legal, Compliance and more to identify, scope, set strategy, define a roadmap and develop products from inception to commercialization and beyond. This team is responsible for driving a significant part of the bank's innovation strategy. The VP, Product Manager will be responsible for leading and supporting various products depending on role alignment. You will play a key role in enhancing core capabilities and define our end-to-end product vision. Performs all duties in accordance with the Company's policies and procedures, all U.S. state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the Company operates.
HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
- Responsible for owning the product strategy, roadmap, and execution for the Bank's management products.
- Perform ongoing management and business readiness of product launches, enhancements, upgrades and regulatory compliance.
- Continually leverage data and collect internal and external feedback to iterate and evolve products to improve solutions and remove user friction.
- Articulate clear product plans to drive alignment and prioritizations across the business.
- Proactively collaborate with cross-functional team members across the organization including Digital, Client Service, Operations, Legal, Compliance, and Sales to create and improve processes and procedures.
- Act as a subject matter expert for your products; understand the market and trends, provide training and expertise to sales and other client facing teams.
- Create product resources and maintain updates to internal and external sites.
- Perform ongoing market analysis on product offerings and competitive landscape to meet and exceed client needs.
- Be the evangelist for your products to internal stakeholders and clients.
- Involved with interviewing and hiring decisions.

- TREASURY
- You will be responsible for developing and delivering a full range of Cash Management, Payment, and Liquidity solutions designed to meet the full spectrum of a client's treasury needs.
- Responsible for owning the product implementation for the Bank's treasury management products, such as account analysis, fee & revenue pricing, etc.
- PAYMENTS
- You will lead and develop Banc of California's payments product roadmap for our proprietary, tech-enabled and innovative payments solution. This solution includes full stack payments capabilities and direct to Fed ACH.
- You will be responsible for owning, driving, and defining the payments product roadmap, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure our customized and innovative FinTech payments solutions meet the needs of our clients and technology partners.
- CREDIT CARDS
- The products covered by the Product Manager, Credit Cards, represent new and existing payment types for our customers including credit card, virtual card and debit card payment types. You will also own key relationships with our merchant acquiring partner. You will play a key role in enhancing core capabilities while growing a new suite of payments in our product vision.
- You will be responsible for owning the product strategy, roadmap, and execution for new and existing credit card solutions.
- LIQUIDITY & INVESTMENTS
- Liquidity & Investments represent new and existing solutions for our customers including deposits, sweeps, investments, CDs, Money Market Funds, and more. The incumbent will own key relationships with business and technology partners or vendors and play a key role in enhancing core capabilities while growing a new suite of liquidity and investment solutions in our broader product vision.
- You will be responsible for owning the product strategy, roadmap, and execution for new and existing liquidity and investment solutions and providing product support to sales and our branch network.
- TREASURY
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Minimum of 6-8 years of product management experience in payments, fintech or financial services industries, serving business clients is required
- Extensive experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is required
- High School diploma or equivalent is required
- Bachelor's Degree highly preferred
- Certified Treasury Professional certification preferred

- Strong background in Treasury Solutions including Account Analysis, Fee Pricing, ACH, Wires, Integrated Payables, Positive Pay, Remote Deposit, Lockbox, and Merchant Services
- Deep understanding of emerging payment trends, particularly those of non-banks and fintech competitors
- Knowledge of Agile routines
- Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Analytical mindset including familiarity with commercial banking and data analysis
- Experience with building a marketing and product promotion plan
- Experience building business cases for a product, develop roadmaps, and own the KPI's
- Exhibits attention to detail and ability to manage schedule to meet aggressive deadlines
- Experience managing and resolving issues with vendors and partners
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio)
- Review and be knowledgeable of departmental and human resource's policies & procedures
