WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Strategic Planning: Define and champion the product vision, roadmap, and strategy, aligning it with the company's overall business goals and market opportunities. This involves setting clear objectives and key results (OKRs) that align with overall strategic priorities.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of product managers, designers, market analysts, trainers and other relevant personnel. Cultivate an environment where team members are encouraged to share, learn and develop. Prepare reports, present findings, and provide recommendations to executive leadership.
- Product Development Process: Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from ideation and concept development to design, engineering, testing, go to market strategy, launch, and post-launch support. Identify opportunities for new product launches in key market segments by analyzing product trends and customer feedback to identify gaps and opportunities.
- Innovation: Foster a culture of innovation within the product development team, encouraging experimentation, creativity, and continuous improvement.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer analysis to identify opportunities for new products and enhancements to existing ones.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and engineering, and operations to determine product requirements, ensure successful product launches, define a product roadmap and create an ongoing support model.
- Budget Management: In partnership with the CTO, manage the product development budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively and projects are delivered within budget.
- Performance Measurement: Monitoring product performance and key performance indicators (KPIs), analyzing market trends and customer feedback, and making data-driven decisions to continuously improve the product portfolio.

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE:
Required
- Bachelor's degree in a Business, Product Development, Innovation, Engineering or related technical field
- Experience is standing up a product organization from scratch
- At least 8 years' experience in product development, innovation or market strategy with a proven track record of successful product launches.
- Proficient in financial analysis, budgeting and performance evaluation
- Experience with various product development methodologies (i.e. Agile, Waterfall).
Preferred
- MBA or other advanced degree in a related field
- Experience in Telecommunications, Managed Services or Technology Product Development

- Demonstrated knowledge of personal computer applications Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Outlook
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Primarily indoor work in an office environment
- Oversee work activities in central office equipment environment
- Frequent utilization of manual dexterity and visualizing of a computer screen
- Some travel possible by vehicle with occasional overnights
