Senior SIM Applet Developer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SIM Applet Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will deeply understand Smart Card technology and have a proven track record in SIM applet development. This role requires extensive knowledge of JavaCard (versions 2.x and 3.x), GlobalPlatform standards, and the relevant 3GPP/ETSI specifications for SIM/USIM/SAT/USAT. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Java-based applets for Smart Cards, ensuring high performance and compliance with industry standards.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Java applets for SIM/USIM applications, ensuring robustness, efficiency, and compliance with 3GPP/ETSI specifications.
• Design and implement features for SAT/USAT services, optimizing for performance and user experience.
• Leveraging JavaCard platform, including versions 2.x and 3.x, to develop applets that meet performance, security, and compatibility requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define specifications, and integrate SIM applet solutions into broader systems.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applets, ensuring seamless functionality and security.
• Stay abreast of industry developments and advancements in Smart Card and SIM applet technology, applying best practices to ongoing projects.

Job Requirements:

• A strong background in the telecommunications industry with software development experience is required.
• 10+ years of Java programming experience is required, and at least 3 years of experience in SIM applet development.
• Expert knowledge of JavaCard platform (versions 2.x and 3.x) usage for applet development is required.

Familiarity with GlobalPlatform specifications and 3GPP/ETSI standards related to SIM/USIM/SAT/USAT.
