Cloud Engineer - Onsite

Job Description:
As a Cloud Engineer, you will serve as the team lead for infrastructure and connectivity activities, ensuring seamless integration between interface partners and successful execution of infrastructure deliverables across multiple projects. You will manage infrastructure needs for Project related initiatives, owning documentation, testing, and coordination to maintain robust, secure, and timely project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the single point of contact for all infrastructure-related activities, ensuring centralized communication and accountability.
• Lead infrastructure efforts across projects, assuming full ownership and responsibility for deliverables.
• Manage infrastructure connectivity and ensure alignment with evolving project requirements and milestones.
• Collaborate with PMO teams, and partners to meet deadlines and proactively mitigate risks.
• Coordinate with interface partners to fulfill connectivity and infrastructure requirements.
• Maintain high-level network documentation and establish a central repository for IP and server records.
• Develop and manage firewall rule documentation in coordination with client and external partners.
• Lead testing and validation of secure network connectivity, working directly with client and stakeholders.
• Implement and monitor system performance tools to gain insight into infrastructure health and dependencies.
• Address gaps in infrastructure, including IP alignment, documentation, and disaster recovery planning.

Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:

• Proven experience leading infrastructure or cloud engineering initiatives in a multi-project environment.
• Strong understanding of network connectivity, secure infrastructure setup, and IP address management.
• Hands-on experience with firewall rule creation and collaboration with client IT teams.
• Proficiency in documenting network architecture, firewall configurations, and system dependencies.
• Skilled in monitoring system performance and identifying infrastructure optimization opportunities.
• Experience coordinating with internal teams and external partners to achieve connectivity goals.
• Strong organizational skills for centralized documentation management and version control.
• Demonstrated ability to identify infrastructure risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Experience contributing to large-scale projects involving infrastructure integration.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to lead technical discussions.

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $40.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
