The Regional Director, Market Development is responsible for the recruitment, leadership, and professional development of a team of Market Development Directors. This role is integral to the strategic advancement of the assigned region, with a focus on achieving established financial and operational targets. The incumbent is accountable for overseeing the performance and overall management of their region, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Additionally, the Regional Director, Market Development is charged with equipping Market Development Directors with the necessary training and guidance to effectively lead their team of Community Liaisons. Serving as a key role amongst the Regional Operations team, this position is essential to driving the sustained performance and growth of affiliated facilities. All duties to be done in accordance with Joint Commission, Federal and State regulations, Oceans', policies and procedures and Performance Improvement Standards.
Candidate must live in Louisiana or Mississippi.
Essential Functions:
Plan, develop, organize, implement evaluate, and direct the regional marketing programs to achieve revenue goals and to provide the community with information relative to the facility, its programs, services and practices. Develops and spearheads strategic plans and marketing strategies for the region. Assist and collaborate with the Regional Operations team. Manage all Market Development Directors in responsible region including weekly reports, CRM compliance, shadowing in the field & sales training. Networks within trade shows, mental health facilities, and local associations which generate business for the company. Responsible for assisting in the establishment and achievement of regional goals relating to new development. Conducts research to determine the need of new services for the region and provide hospital leadership with summaries and recommendations pertaining to these evaluations. Coordinates the production and placement of advertisements and evaluates market reactions to advertising programs and marketing campaigns. Assists in onboarding new staff ensuring appropriate training and outreach to community sources. Monitors market development teams to include expense management, productivity/achievement of goals and targets and validates data/reports. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements
Education / Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in either marketing, mass communications, business administration or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of ten (10) years' experience in business development/marketing, preferably in a medical or hospital environment.
- Behavioral Health experience is required.
- Five (5) Years management experience preferred.
- Experience with managing multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines.
- Knowledge of hospital operations and psychiatric programs preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to interpret data and develop initiatives based on interpretation of data.
- Ability to communicate in age/disability/cultural sensitivity manner to patients, patient's families, and referral sources.
