Ready to Join? We are looking for a full-time Nurse Practitioner to work with one of our Surgeons. We are searching for a person that is excited to provide unparalleled customer service in the clinic, assistance in the OR, and that is eager to work with a team of people dedicated to the care of patients. This position will be based at the Orthopedic Building in Chicago, IL. Candidate must be flexible to travel to Naperville, IL, Oak Brook, IL, and Munster, IN.

Responsibilities:

  • Assesses patient health status including state of wellness and compliance with care plan, and determines appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
  • Utilizes practice technology including, but not limited to, electronic health record, dictation, and outcomes tools to their full capability to ensure excellent patient care.
  • Responsible for providing medical care as delegated by physician.
  • Educates patients and families as appropriate and provides continuity of care.
  • Administrative activities related to patient care
  • Performs physical examinations and preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines and instructions of Physician.
  • Records physical findings, and formulates plan and prognosis, based on patient's condition.
  • Discusses case with Physician and other health professionals to prepare comprehensive patient care plan.
  • Submits health care plan and goals of individual patients for periodic review and evaluation by Physician.
  • Prescribes or recommends drugs or other forms of treatment such as physical therapy, inhalation therapy, or related therapeutic procedures.
  • Refers patients to Physician for consultation or to specialized health resources for treatment.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; Master's preferred.
  • Current Illinois State NP License
  • Certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
  • Current CPR Certification.

Pay Range: $105-130k annualized. Compensation at MOR is determined by many factors, which may include but are not limited to, job-related skills and level of experience, education, certifications, geographic location, market data and internal equity. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
