Role: Power BI Developer with advanced DAX and SQL skills

Location: Houston, TX

Duration: 6+ Months

Job Description

Utilize best practices to design, develop, and support Power BI report and visualizations
Publish reports and dashboards using Power BI Service for sharing and collaboration
Optimize Power BI dashboards with a focus on usability and performance
Understand requirements and have the ability to visualize the Dashboard
Work on different metrics and calculations using Power BI functions
Be able to consolidate and aggregate data for visualizations
Schedule dashboard refreshes and set up proactive notifications

Must Have:

10+ years into IT and 8 plus years in Power BI dashboard and report visualization development
Oil & Gas experience strong Power BI development experience with advanced DAX and SQL skills. Has Python, TIBCO and snowflake experience.
Excellent communication to communicate needs with client and internal teams successfully
Expertise in publishing reports and dashboards using Power BI Service
Expertise in Power Query and DAX languages
Ability to prevent and support resolution of data quality issues
