Lead MuleSoft Developer - Hybrid

Job Description:
As a Lead MuleSoft Developer, you will serve as a senior technical leader supporting the Client's MuleSoft interfaces. You will participate in the full SDLC lifecycle, guiding integration efforts between legacy systems and new platforms, with a focus on MuleSoft and Salesforce. This role demands a proactive, solution-driven mindset and strong collaboration with System Integrators to ensure knowledge transfer and sustainable architecture.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of APIs and integrations using MuleSoft and Salesforce platforms.
• Serve as the technical expert for MuleSoft implementations, managing deployments and ensuring best practices are followed.
• Participate in all SDLC phases, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and documentation.
• Provide production support for MuleSoft interfaces and processes, troubleshooting and resolving issues.
• Develop new data exchanges and integrations using MuleSoft, ensuring seamless interoperability with Salesforce.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for integration solutions, including design patterns and blueprints.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to development team members, supporting skill growth and code quality.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure solutions align with business requirements and technical standards.
• Assist in the transition from legacy systems, supporting migration and integration activities.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and provide input for project planning and resource estimation.

Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise-level development with a strong focus on integration and SOA.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with MuleSoft, including deployment and integration best practices.
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce integration and related development practices.
• Deep understanding of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and reusable service patterns.
• Proficiency in technologies such as XSLT, Java, C#, JavaScript, XML, JSON, SOAP, REST, and WebAPI.
• Experience with code control and CI/CD using Microsoft DevOps or Team Foundation Server.
• Skilled in SQL Server and DB2 development, including stored procedures, views, and data querying.
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture, service design, and scalable integration strategies.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and lead technical efforts.
• Demonstrated ability to provide mentorship and drive projects from planning through deployment.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience with Azure Service Bus and cloud-based messaging systems.
• Familiarity with polling mechanisms and complex "SQL-to-XML" data transformations.
• Proficiency in database design and development for large-scale enterprise systems.

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $60.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
