We are looking for an exceptional Electrical Engineer who can help us with qualification, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electronics in pressure and vacuum measurement products. In this role you get an opportunity to:
- Perform system and board level testing to validate that customer return, production and new products meet performance and design goals. Execute product level and component level testing during the investigation of customer failures alongside a dedicated Sustaining team with access to an advanced test lab. Analyze test data, generate reports and present updates that drive corrective action and product improvement.
- Support products in volume manufacturing by hands-on troubleshooting of problems and failure analysis of returned units
- Participate in cross-functional project teams during troubleshooting activities to achieve customer satisfaction
- Coordinate on a daily basis with Engineers and Technicians to keep test plans on track, review results and update customer facing reports with status and next steps as needed
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 5 + years of experience in an electrical engineering or product engineering role.
- The ability to use tools such as oscilloscopes, high voltage probes, power meters, etc. to successfully and independently test and debug circuits
- The demonstrated experience creating and executing design verification test plans
- It would be great if you have:
- Experience with system and board-level failure analysis
- Experience with problem solving techniques such as Fault Tree Analysis, 8D and similar Root Cause and Corrective Action tools
- General familiarity with IPC standards
