Description

We are in search of an Accounting Manager to join our team based in New York. As an Accounting Manager, you will handle our organization's daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. You will be responsible for maintaining precise financial records and providing support for both internal and external audits. Furthermore, you will assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting while collaborating with other departments to improve financial processes and reporting.

Responsibilities:
Oversee daily accounting operations to ensure they are carried out with accuracy and efficiency.
Maintain precise financial records by preparing, reviewing, and adjusting journal entries and account reconciliations.
Support the financial statement review process at the end of each period by providing variance analysis and comparisons to forecasts, budgets, and/or prior periods.
Develop and implement policies and procedures related to accounting to align with the organization's financial goals.
Coordinate and provide support during internal and external audits, addressing any findings or recommendations as necessary.
Provide support for accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including transaction verification, invoice processing, and payment reconciliations.
Assist in the creation of budgets and financial forecasts.
Work in collaboration with other departments to optimize financial processes and reporting.
Perform any other duties as required.

Requirements
Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in an Accounting Manager role or similar position.
Proficiency in using ADP - Financial Services software for various accounting tasks.
Demonstrated experience in auditing, ensuring compliance with financial laws and regulations.
Solid working knowledge of Restaurant 365 software to manage restaurant-specific accounting needs.
Ability to prepare clear and accurate financial statements for business analysis and reporting.
Experience in handling accruals, maintaining accuracy in financial records and statements.
