Our Function
Our Investment Services team at Jennison is responsible for various strategic and tactical initiatives in support of the investment community at the firm. We work closely with Portfolio Managers, Analysts and Traders and partner with all other groups throughout the firm to achieve core objectives. Key areas of responsibilities include, but are limited to, oversight of best execution program (counterparty, commissions, TCA), support trading and portfolio management teams for unique on-boarding/transfers and cash monitoring, review and reporting of key areas of investment risk, ESG business management coordination, investment related technology support and other cross firm initiatives and deliverables.
We are seeking an experienced Investment Risk professional to join the team and to help accelerate our investment risk efforts and play a key role in the continued build out of the investment risk program. This role will be reporting directly to the Senior Vice President responsible for Investment, Trade and Risk Analysis, and will be expected to partner with other members of the Investment Services team and groups across the firm.

The base salary range for this role is $130,000-$150,000. Individual salaries for this role may vary based on various factors including but not limited to, years of experience, range in corporate level, candidate skills, and geographic location. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including but not limited to, individual and organizational performance.

- Investment Risk Guideline Monitoring
- Reviewing Product Characteristics
- Liquidity and Concentration Risk Review and Reporting
- Counterparty Risk and Reporting
- Stress Testing and Scenario Analysis
- Lead and facilitate multiple governance groups impacting the investment risk process
- Play a key role in investment risk related projects
Qualifications
Your required skills include:
- 5+ years of experience in financial services, preferably in asset management
- Experience in the investment risk field with exposure to relevant tools and (Barra, Bloomberg Port)
- Experience with facilitating and leading both small and large sized meetings
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Eagerness to learn with special attention to completing research and knowledge sharing
- Ability to act as an agent of change
- CFA or MBA preferred
