Job Summary:

The Master Data Governance Analyst - III will be responsible for owning the technical and functional aspects of Master Data Maintenance/Governance (MDM(G)) to support SAP S/4 functional areas (Finance, SCM, OTC and others) along with non-SAP processes (MES, PLM, QM and others). The Master Data Governance Analyst - III resource will align the business processes to utilize Best Practice solutions effectively by employing standard SAP/Precisely (LTMC, WinShuttle, etc.) solutions and applications to minimize custom development. Resource shall also be responsible for implementing the master data governance model to support the Audit requirements. This strategic approach facilitates periodic solution upgrades and patches without jeopardizing the stability of the business solutions. Emphasis will be on maintaining the sanity of the data and the governance with the use of standard development applications (SAP/Precisely/others).

Essential Duties:
  • Conduct master data analysis and strategy around the MDG for Finance, SCM, MES, QM, PLM and other enterprise applications.
  • Identify and implement best practice MDM/MDG solution.
  • Collaborate with the SI Team to develop the standard data templates.
  • Attain proficiency and understand the Panasonic Business Systems, including interfaces and integrations.
  • Facilitate and conduct business data requirements workshops to develop the data governance and compliance strategy.
  • Map simple and complex data flow/governance (AS-IS & TO-BE).
  • Guide architecture decisions based on industry standards and best practices in the MDM/MDG area.
  • Develop the data governance and compliance strategy for the logistics functional area.
  • Develop a comprehensive data load and testing strategy/plan for the functional and integration solution. Review and approve the test data for end-user test cases and actively engage in user acceptance testing data requirements.
  • Lead the day-to-day technical support of the data management/governance tools to ensure they operate optimally.
  • Play a crucial role in choosing and suggesting data governance models and solutions customized to meet specific business data requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal and external business partners and fully understand business data functions and current systems.
  • Manage integrated functionality and technology dependencies, usability, reliability, performance, and support needs.
  • Lead discussions, provide guidance on data loads, governance for the various enterprise applications and facilitate collaboration with implementation partners. Assess the efficiency and effectiveness of existing solutions while formulating strategies for their improvement.
  • Conduct advanced data collection tasks, lead in gathering requirements, and consolidate intricate organizational and procedural information from business collaborators, showcasing a profound grasp of business terminology.
  • Adhere to the enterprise IT standards and processes od Panasonic Energy.
  • Generate presentations and demonstrations, oversee the creation of training documents/materials, and lead training sessions for business partners while supporting the training and mentoring of junior analysts and business resources in the Data area.
  • Propose innovative approaches to address the advanced data needs of business partners.
  • Ongoing education and remaining abreast of industry trends in Data Governance and Maintenance.
  • Take on the responsibilities of an Enterprise IT Quality Assurance Analyst or serve as a Project Manager for small projects in the Data space as requested/needed.

Qualifications

Requirements - Required and/or Preferred

Education
  • Required: Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, technology, information systems management, or a related field.
  • Preferred: Master of Science in Technology, Business Data Management, Information Systems Management, or a related field. Specialized post-graduate certifications include SAP Certified Consultant, SAP S/4HANA System Administration, or related certifications.

Essential Qualifications
  • A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in Enterprise Data Management (SAP/Precisely) supporting the data needs in various functional areas with S/4 Hana enterprise software and Data management tools to support other non-SAP applications is mandatory.
  • Possess advanced expertise in Enterprise Data Management and standard data tools of S/4 and Precisely, with a comprehensive understanding of its application in business/organizational data requirements.
  • Experience in comprehending and analyzing complex business publications, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.
  • Proficient in creating comprehensive reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals. Your ability to deliver information effectively to respond to inquiries from diverse stakeholders is crucial.
  • Proficient in calculating and interpreting various numerical data and applying advanced AI computing concepts.
  • Proficiency in problem-solving and the ability to adapt to diverse and non-standardized concrete variables demonstrate capability in effectively addressing a broad spectrum of complex variables with minimal standardization.
  • Proficient in integrating enterprise considerations into solution development and expert in incorporating enterprise-level factors into data solution design and development.
  • Proficient in adept verbal and written communication across various scenarios, showcasing attentive listening, articulate responses, and active engagement in meetings. Skilled in effectively navigating diverse verbal contexts, presenting explicit and informative written content, rigorously proofreading, and catering to varying stylistic requirements. Proficiency extends to the adept presentation of numerical data and comprehensive comprehension of written information.
  • Adaptability to changes in the work environment is a key requirement for this role. You should be adept at managing multiple priorities, have a flexible approach to align methods with the situation, and demonstrate resilience against frequent changes, delays, and unexpected events.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • SAP S/4 HANA Data Management
  • Precisely Data management/Governance.
  • Knowledge of Manufacturing, Finance, Supply Chain, Inventory Management
  • Data Integration between S/4 and other processes/modules.
